Origami Samurai Helmet Workshop

Family Workshop | All Ages
Sunday, May 4, 2025 | 1pm-3pm
AGGV Studio | 1040 Moss Street

Instructor - Sarah M. Nishida

In celebration of Asian Heritage Month and Children’s Day, join Japanese artist Sarah M. Nishida for an exciting family workshop!

Participants will create their original handmade samurai helmets using origami techniques. Using multiple sheets of construction paper, participants will learn how to craft an original helmet large enough for a child to wear. The goal of the workshop is for family members to enjoy the process of making a DIY Kabuto, learning its basic structure and how to create a wearable piece using origami techniques.
