This camp is inspired by the Gallery’s latest exhibition of video art by artists from around the world! Trans-Pacific Transmissions: Video Art Across the Pacific will provide tonnes of inspiration for art-making and experimentation in the Studio and galleries. Create story-boards, short videos, learn about artists in the exhibition and try your hand at creative map-making.

Please bring a device from home to create videos with, that you are confident operating ie; cell phone, digital camera or the like. The Gallery will provide standard art supplies for each student, but not A/V equipment.

A note about “all ages” classes – Multi-generational Studio classes are a great opportunity to learn in a “community” centered environment - Drawing on a wide range of skill levels and life experience, making sharing rich and dynamic, and at times requiring some self-direction since learning needs may be met at varying paces.
