Instructor: Everett Wong

 $120.00 | $110.00 Members

AGGV Studio 1040 Moss Street

In these tactile and hands-on workshops, participants will learn how to manipulate fabric into tessellating units to create sculptural flowers known as Kanzashi. Further embellishment with additional objects and decorative elements can be added once the final form is completed and set.

Offered in collaboration with the AGGV's exhibitions and inspired by themes of cross-cultural dialogue and diasporic reverence, these workshops encourage participants to bring their own aesthetic sensibilities into the process. Suitable for all skill levels. All materials and supplies are provided, though participants are welcome to bring additional fabric to personalize their work. Space is limited, register early to reserve your spot!
