This the first exhibition at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, located on the traditional lands of the Esquimalt and Songhees Coast Salish people, dedicated solely to works by artists of Coast Salish ancestry. The artists invited to participate in the Transporters exhibition are breaking new trails, and this has brought them into the consciousness of the curators.
