Join us in the studio this Pride season for a Zine-making workshop for 2SLGBTQ+ community! Inspired by the Architectures of Protection exhibition, we will use Zine-making as a medium to consider the theme of "protections" with regards to oneself, to community, knowledge, culture and identity, and equally, asks what is protection for some and not for others? Whether you’re into drawing, writing, collage, or crafting, this class is perfect for exploring your creativity and making your own personal zine alongside 2SLGBTQ+ community
Get inspired by the Architectures of Protection exhibition while working on your projects and collaborating with others. No experience needed - just bring your ideas! All materials provided.
Note: This class is geared towards 2SLGBTQ+ identifying community members! If you have any questions about this please contact the Studio Coordinator Meghan Krauss at studio@aggv.ca
*Classes will take place at the AGGV Studio, located at 1040 Moss Street.
