Symbolizing new beginnings with the advent of the Lunar New Year, lanterns hold a significant place in Asian festivals. Families will explore the Asian Art collection to discover and sketch the decorative patterns created by artists over the centuries. Using these sketches, participants will design their own lanterns to cast a warm glow and welcome a bright new year. All materials and supplies are provided. Space is limited; register early to reserve your spot!
