Acrylic Painting from Hand-Made Models

In this course, students will build models out of cardboard, clay, string etc., as reference material for their paintings. We will experiment with using different kinds of 3D models of shelters, inspired by the exhibition Architecture of Protection. We'll explore colour theory and a wide range of acrylic painting techniques. Students will also explore artists who create work based on hand-made models and collages.
